1. The screens are not displaying the selected source

Sometimes after logging in and out of the main computer while the display system is on, the video switch may stop pushing the source on one or more screens. Large screens may only display a blue background with a Christie logo. To troubleshoot try one of the following:

1. Switch different sources on the touch panel
      1. On the touch panel, select a source that is displayed on one of the screens (typically Smartboard PC)
      2. Select the output screen which is not displaying any source
      3. Repeat the process several times changing sources until the appropriate source is displayed again

2. Restart the video switch remotely

aaaaaaaaaaaaaa1. Double-click the Web Switch shortcut on the desktop:

aaaaaaaaaaaaaa*While the switch is rebooting, all displays will be temporarily lost for few minutes. Once the switch is back on, all displays should be back.
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaNOTE: If the monitors or the main computer is still not displaying properly, you may also need to restart the console machine.

3.Restart the video switch locally**
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaIf you have access to the equipment rack in the closet, unplug both power plugs from the video switch for few moments and plug them back in.

2. The main screens are not turning on/off

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaIf the screens are not turning on/off from the touch panel, use the remote under the screen and push power button. The remote under the left screen controls all three projectors. To toggle between controlling individual or all projectors, press "projector" button twice to control all, or "projector" followed by a number (1 for left, 2 center and 3 for right) and ENTER.

3. The monitor(s) are not displaying the source/ the image is pixelated

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaIf one or more monitors are showing any signs of image noise, pixelation, horizontal lines, or not displaying the source at all and showing instead "Entering power save mode" or "Signal out of range" message, try one of the following:

aaaa1. Check the cat5 cables plugged into the extender boxes under the desk. Each monitor is connected into each own extender box with a DVI cable coming in, and two cat5 cables coming out of the box. Unplug and plug back the cat5 cables and check if the signal is back on the monitor.

aaaa2. The video switch may not be pushing the signal so it may need a restart. Refer to the above section on how to restart the switch.
